Update of 28/10/16
I had a bunch of people ask various questions for the song requests so I'll be trying to address a few of them. The full list of new songs, as a number of people requested, can be found here.

So anyways, to address some of the biggest questions and plans that have over the past few days:

1) I've had a few people ask me to inform them which songs were rejected and why, but unfortunately I will not be able to answer these questions. The quantity that I received was a lot, and going over them in such detail is just not feasible.
For many songs it's just the case that they're not quite suitable, but other things I've encountered over the past few days includes:
- Being sent entire OST's/Albums. With the current size of the playlist including the entire thing is a bit much, and often times they have a number of same'ish tracks anyway.
- Long silence before/after track, this happened a surprising amount of time
- Excessively repeating tune, some tracks were just 4+ minutes of what felt like the same 5 minute loop
- Low quality audio 

2) I'll be moving my attention to making a system for handling new characters. The current plan is for a separate game mode in which they'll come in gradually and semi-controlled, but I would love to hear people's opinion on things. The likely date for this system to go live is either next weekend (November 4th/5th) or the weekend afterwards.

3) I've decided to lower the maximum XP multiplier from odds from 100 to 10. Though it doesn't fully address the issue, I'd like people to not feel so inclined to bet $1 to try and get massive XP bonus. During the lowest points of activity it's actually fairly realistic to be the only bettor on one side and the reward for betting $1 was just far too great. I'll be trying to come up with a formula that perhaps avoids this problem altogether.

4) I've started moving characters whom are extremely lag-prone to a special, temporary tier (Temp ban). They'll all be released once I get a PC upgrade (sorry, no ETA for now).

And finally, I'm really happy with all that has happened over the past few days. Spriteclub is still small, but we've honestly grown a lot more than I had expected. Hence I'll have no qualms spending some money for that much-needed PC upgrade. Thank you all for being here!
Not much you can do in regards to $1 bettors. It'll keep happening even if you'd make their XP gain negative, because it's a high reward zero risk situation. The only "solution" is more bettors, basically.
I'm aware, I just don't want it to be so rewarding if you somehow end up with 1:100 odds just because you decided to bet $1 and just so happen to be the only one.
Maybe give an extra XP gain for betting higher to reward betting high, even bigger for going all in.

If possible, make the formula always reward betting higher rather than lower.
